About this build
KITHBOUND Dawn and Dusk is an original creature-collecting RPG built on the pret/pokered disassembly: the engine code is assembled from it and played on EmulatorJS (gambatte). Every creature, trainer, map, tileset, tune, sound, table and line of text was made for this project, with a new type chart, new names and a new region; a headless player reached the first badge in both versions.

What has been tested
A headless player reached the first badge in both versions; the local release build was played headlessly in Edge; originality, taint and map-bot gates 0 failing. Owner controller playtest pending.
Last tested 2026-10-20 in Edge (headless). Full playthrough: not verified. How games are tested.
The build's own test log is in STATUS.md in its repository.
Known limitations
- A different game by design: new creatures, region, music and wording.
- Link cable trading and battles are not available in the browser.
Saves
Save from the in-game menu (Start, SAVE). The save is stored by the build in this browser, under andrewnakas.github.io. Clearing site data removes it. Dawn and Dusk keep separate saves; pick the version with the buttons under the game.
