The cartridge's battery save is kept in this browser's IndexedDB, keyed by your ROM's SHA-1, and restored automatically next time you load the same ROM. Export .sav writes it out as a normal 32 KB save file, and Import .sav reads one back in. Clearing site data removes it. Save inside the game before exporting a backup. Clearing browser data can erase progress.
