About this build
Bramble Run is an original side-scroller built on the community Xkeeper0/smb1 disassembly, assembled unchanged and played on EmulatorJS (FCEUmm). Everything you see and hear is new: all 34 stage layouts come from a seeded level generator (checked by a headless bot), every tile, the title board and the font are redrawn for a new cast, the music and sound effects are new compositions, and all wording and names are rewritten.

What has been tested
A headless bot cleared all 32 main-path stages; the local release build was played headlessly in Edge; originality and taint gates 0 failing. Owner controller playtest pending.
Last tested 2026-10-20 in Edge (headless). Full playthrough: not verified. How games are tested.
The build's own test log is in STATUS.md in its repository.
Known limitations
