About this build
Super Mario Bros. running in the browser from the retail program, rebuilt from its disassembly, on EmulatorJS (FCEUmm). Every tile, sprite and sound has been regenerated by the clean-room pipeline from coarse facts, so the build ships no original ROM, graphics or audio.

What has been tested
Headless Edge: boots to the title, Start begins a 1 player game, runs and jumps through World 1-1; audio buffers carry signal.
Last tested 2026-10-10 in Edge (headless, muted). Full playthrough: not verified. How games are tested.

Known limitations
- Work in progress: regenerated graphics and audio differ from the retail game by design.

The game has no save. Save states are available from the emulator menu.
