About this build
Graveshift is a round-based zombie shooter in the style of the classic console wave-survival modes. It runs on a Three.js engine built from the MIT-licensed code of luckeyfaraday/kino-der-toten, with an original map (the Starlight Picturehouse), original names and only CC0 or generated art and sound. A second mode, Team Deathmatch against bots on the Maple Court arena, opens from the title page.

What has been tested
The build's own headless tests: routes walked on the map, every weapon fired and reloaded, a zombies run to round 10 and bots-only deathmatches to the score limit, all with 0 errors. Nobody has played it by hand yet.
Last tested 2026-10-09 in Chrome (headless, muted). Full playthrough: not verified. How games are tested.
The build's own test log is in STATUS.md in its repository.
Known limitations
- Not a port of any retail game: the map, names, art and sound are original or CC0.
- Multiplayer is bots only for now; there is no online play.
- Announcer lines are placeholder synthetic voices.
Saves
Nothing is saved between sessions: each run starts at round 1.
